Graduations

Congratulations to the newly graduated DLA Batch 2007! ;)

I went to the my alma mater's high school graduation last night. In fact, I purposely came late to be fashionably late and to escape the irritating speeches, I came in the middle of the guest speaker's speech and it lasted or at least an hour, at least according to my unconscious detector wherein he only finished talking after my friends and I ran out of stories because he had been speaking for at least an hour! (grunt)

Anyway, I went there as Christopher made his end of the deal work, after gaining a medal just right before graduation. Yay. Applause. I am so proud. Hehe. I never felt surprise. That's that thing with him, he always delivers. He looks good on the stage. The whole thing made me miss my whole high school memories. Nostalgia. Oh, and just to bribe me more into going, Christopher dragged his little brother to me at the end of the ceremony. I had him for at least ten minutes. Poor guy, I think he felt harassed but he is so cute. I can never resist him.

During the grad though, I caught up a lot with my friends and to avoid the usual DLA traffic right after any event, we stayed at Jo's . The better part of the evening: hearing all those chismis from the celebrities to our own lives and of course seeing Jo's perfect drawings. Mind you, she made them only for a two nights but they are unbelivably beautiful. It would take me at least a lifetime to make one even similar to that. Hay. I wanted to showcase that for her debut. It's sad because we will not get to plan that party anymore as she does not want to do that thing anymore. But I think there will still be boozed. That I am looking forward to. :)

So, Batch 2007 ended there HS last night and my batch ends our first year in college. Endings always have this sad yet cheerful feel in them. I am glad I went to that graduation. I never felt more loved.
